Hello, I wasn't sure whether to ask this here or in the Child Care forum, but I was wondering if anyone knows if any Rockville Centre elementary schools offer extended hours (early drop off/late pick up) for working parents? Thanks in advance, Kate
Hi Kate, Yes, in this town it's called Project Great. I took the below from the website: AM Project GREAT runs in all five elementary schools from 7:00 AM until 8:50 AM. In the morning, students are offered a healthy breakfast to help start their day. PM Project Great runs in all five elementary schools from 3:30 PM until 5:00 PM, or 3:30 until 6:30 PM. Students are provided with a variety of healthy snacks. I do want to note, that the "healthy breakfast" is usually not healthy at all... but aside from that, we've had a great experience there.
